Finally, some good news. Have been exchanging emails with Janice (Briggs) Remmele. We had the same 5th and 6th grade teachers, and virtually the same schedule in the 7th and 8th grades. We both went to Central, and had Mrs. Walker as our teacher. Another teacher was Miss Joyce Pedersen, whose class is pictured above (how many of these students can you identify?). Does anyone remember who the other 6th grade teacher at Central was? Could it have been Mrs. Travis? If anyone has pictures of our school years that you would not mind posting, you can email them to me and I will try to get them up here.
I had Mrs. Cheever in 6th grade at Central. We made big maps on the walls where we projected images, and we listened to "The Yearling" after lunch with our heads resting on our desks. Such innocence :-)
